Today we left Kingshouse for a short but steep hike, over the Devil’s Staircase, into Kinlochleven. Much of the day was spent at higher altitude, in the clouds. This stretch most resembles alpine hikes I have done in the past. It was really nice.

We then came across an area where many cars stopped. It turns out this is the spot where Daniel Craig & Judi Dench were filmed for the Bond movie Skyfall.

Then began the ca 2 hour climb and about 1 hour descent.

Eventually we arrived in Kinlochleven. We are staying at the Blackwater Hostel where we have our very own room with an ensuite bathroom! We will cook our own dinner tonight. The kitchen in this hostel is very nicely equipped. We are very comfortable.
