This hike took us out of the Lechtal Alps. It involved a long descent to Wenns in the Pitztal valley, followed by a bus ride to where the trail resumes at Mittelberg. Then we ascended to the Braunschweiger Hütte in the Pitztal Alps. This was an extremely tough day for me (Katja). I was sleep deprived and not feeling 100%, so not much gas in the tank. Florence & Smadar were fine and really helped me get up the mountain. Anyhow, we eventually reached this beautiful hut for our second night sleeping in a dormitory.
